Another busy day at Butternutjobs.com!
Over 400 unique users logged onto Butternutjobs.com yesterday alone!
After just over one month of going live our figures have rapidly increased with regards to visitors and page views. On Sunday 8h and Monday 9h July over 400 visitors logged on each day applying for various different vacancies across East Anglia.
With public awareness of the site growing and search engine advertising reaching more and more candidates an increase in the sites figures was inevitable. Such a large increase was not predicted until at least three months into the life of the site and all at Butternutjobs.com are obviously delighted. With talks to integrate with another major job board going ahead and marketing plans to promote the site in Suffolk underway, figures are predicted to increase dramatically over the coming months.
A spokesperson from Butternutjobs said;
“At this early stage we are more than pleased to be attracting over than 400 candidates a day. More candidates means more applications and more applications means happy clients! We have recently signed up a number of new clients and are looking forward to building long term relationships with them. Our immediate plans for the site include improving our Google rankings and stepping up all marketing campaigns in the region.”

Butternutjobs.com hits 6,000
With over 6,000 visitors and page views at over 116,000, butternutjobs.com is growing in popularity among the East Anglian Community.
Butternutjobs.com has received over 6,000 visitors since its launch at the beginning of June. Visitors are browsing the site for longer periods of time and registrations are on the increase. With the large volume of visitors the site has branched into Suffolk whilst continuing to maintain its presence in Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnhire. Marketing campaigns to raise awareness of the site will continue as the site strives to become a household name for recruitment in East Anglia.
Last months candidate competition prompted large numbers of registrations aswell as flyering, poster and newspaper campaigns throughout the region. Representatives at butternutjobs are looking into new, innovative ways to market the site and drive more visitors to register.
A spokesperson from butternutjobs said;
“There has been a marked increase in candidates stating their enquiry source for registering as ‘word of mouth’. The team are pleased with the figures achieved so far but we are aware that a lot more work is needed to catch up to our competitors. One month on it seems the site is moving in a positive direction and the team will continue to strive for the number on spot!”

Top Notch Branding at Butternutjobs.com
With a site that’s fresh and funky plus marketing materials that dare to be different, Butternutjobs.coms’ branding is a hit with its users.
After various visits and demonstrations with clients it appears our branding is a hit! The website was designed to be different and heralded our moto ‘We like things different’. With vibrant colouring and user-friendly features the site has been described as “easy on the eye” and “spot on!” Butternutjobs.com was designed to be different with time and care taken to ensure the site looked like no other job board on the market. With the recruitment industry being so competitive it was important to distinguish the site from the pack with a unique design and feel. Although the site may look different it features all the functionality of industry leading job boards with a few functions like sms job alerts thrown it too!
Our marketing materials were designed to be eye catching and consist of the latest business cards, unique business card carriers and edgy, imaginative direct mail designs. Wanting to be different but still look professional was a struggle at first but the designers at Zero One Design exceeded expectations.
A spokesperson from butternutjobs.com said;
“Every visit our consultants go on they are asked about the marketing material! Clients love our business cards and the fact that we give them something different to mugs and mouse mats! Our aim was to be different and we spent a lot of time researching marketing materials that could help distinguish us from our competitors. A lot of thought went into how the website should look and coming up with something completely different to what’s currently on the market was difficult to say the least! Much of the accolade goes to the designers at Zero One Design who worked closely with our management team to produce the site. We are extremely pleased with the results produced and want to thank the team at Zero One for all their efforts.”

Flyer-ing High!
One of consultants was out flyering in Norwich yesterday and our figures suggest it was a positive day for flyering! Despite wearing a black jumper in the blistering heat, which may have made him standout!, he managed to hand out lot of flyers and increase the amount of people who found the site by just typing in the address rather than using a search engine.

One month on at butternutjobs.com
One month on and figures are encouraging at butternutjobs.com. Advertising campaigns have attracted large numbers of candidates and application levels are high.
Over 5,000 unique visitors have been attracted to the site and page views currently stand at over 108,000. With ongoing regional advertising including flyering, web advertising and poster campaigns, figures are doing well for just one month of being on the web.
Once Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and selected parts of Lincolnshire are sufficiently saturated by the brand, plans to move into Essex will go ahead. Integration with multiple job posting sites is set to go ahead in the next few months which will further increase the profile and usability of the site. Talks are also underway with a major national job board with regards to butternutjobs becoming their representatives in East Anglia. With placements already confirmed our efforts to become a regional hub for recruitment are beginning to pay off.
A spokesperson from butternutjobs.com said;
“To have attracted over 5,000 unique visitors to the site in only its first month of trading is encouraging. We have been overwhelmed with the local response and have been approached by a number of big name national clients looking to use to use the system. The site looks like nothing else on the web today, and we have received a number of positive comments about our branding and unique feel. As always there is room for improvement and we are looking to substantially increase our figures in the coming months in order to stay competitive. We are in for a struggle to get to the top as the recruitment industry is highly competitive, but it seems we are definitely moving in the right direction.”

Butternutjobs sponsors Downham Juniors
In an effort to support local community organisations butternutjobs are sponsoring Downham Juniors Angling Club. The club was formed in 2005 to encourage youngsters in the area to take up Angling. Junior Anglers can be between the ages of 6 and 16 and match entrance and coaching are provided completely free of charge. The group depends on donations of rods and angling equipment to allow junior anglers to learn the much loved sport as well as the time and expertise of a number of local volunteers. The groups website http://www.downhamjuniors.co.uk is aimed at young anglers documenting recent successes and the various locations where matches take place. We are proud to be able give something back to the local community by supporting getting youngsters in the region active!
