Butternutjobs sponsors Downham Juniors

In an effort to support local community organisations butternutjobs are sponsoring Downham Juniors Angling Club. The club was formed in 2005 to encourage youngsters in the area to take up Angling. Junior Anglers can be between the ages of 6 and 16 and match entrance and coaching are provided completely free of charge. The group depends on donations of rods and angling equipment to allow junior anglers to learn the much loved sport as well as the time and expertise of a number of local volunteers. The groups website http://www.downhamjuniors.co.uk is aimed at young anglers documenting recent successes and the various locations where matches take place. We are proud to be able give something back to the local community by supporting getting youngsters in the region active!
